Share market in Team Kereru

Today we spent $1000 on shares in our companies.  Each company has shares that are worth different amounts and it certainly used our brains and calculators to work out how many shares we could get and from where.  

After we brought our shares and double checked the amounts we spent they were put into a spread sheet on excel.  Excel definitely helps doing the adding.  

On Friday we will roll a dice and flip a coin to see which companies make money and what companies lose money.  Some of our companies are high risk (this means we roll 2 dice) and some are low risk (we only roll every 2nd week).

I can't wait to see who makes our leader board this week.  I am in on the game too and maybe we will invite other teachers in as well.    Happy Monday everyone.
