Cricket with Sam from Eastern Kiwisport

We all thoroughly our, slightly wet, first session of cricket with Sam Ward from Eastern Kiwisport.

We learnt about catching and we had some batting practise.  Sam did some really cool activities with us to build up our cricket skills and it is great to see the children using these in the playground during lunchtime the last couple of days.

Team Kereru created our art pieces using the style 'Folk Art'.  I think they did an amazing job and will look bright, breezy and will make a great Calender.
