Market Day
Wow Market Day was a huge success!!
Thank-you to all the parents/grandparents who came and supported our wee market day. I think we could of sold twice what we made!
It was an awesome experience for all the children and we now have a great amount to go towards our swings.
We will have to think of a couple more ideas to help get some more money. Watch this space!!

Toasted Sandwiches
Wow
All the figures are in for the Toasted Sandwiches and we are really excited that we have just over $500 to contribute to our swings. We are so lucky to have had cheese donated from Fonterra and Tony at the Fish and Chip shop.
And to our amazing parents who donated their time and energy to our cause. We may have to do it again.
THANK-YOU ALL

Thank-you Mrs Crump
Today Mrs Crump (Renee's Grandma) helped me and Team Kereru out by coming in and sewing 20 rice sacks for tomorrow's market day.
We are very thankful to her for her support and awesome sewing skills.
They will be on sale in Team Kereru for $2.

Toasted Sandwiches
Team Kereru are learning the key to hospitality success this term. Four weeks of collating orders and making toasted sandwiches are teaching us problem solving skills.
We are excited about raising money for the school to be able to buy some swings. We will be doing a lot more investigating into that in the next couple of week and will have to write to the BOT and get permission to put the swings in the school grounds. We also need to find an area that will be appropriate for them.
We know that it is not going to be a cheap project, but can't wait to see what we can do.
We think we will run our toasted sandwich service in Term 3 as well to help raise money. We will need to get some more keen parent helpers to help us next term too.
