Polyfest

Well Done to Team Kahu and Nikka who performed wonderfully in the Polyfest Show today.  It was an amazing show.  Ka Pai!!!

Well Done to members of Team Kereru who managed to get themselves on stage and try to win drink bottles and Splash Palace free swims.

Measurement and maths

During last week we used our measurement skills to design a school. This was a maths activity out of a Figure it Out Maths book. We had to put our school buildings in a certain area and also include a playground, shady area, car park, and make sure that our buildings had enough space around them.  It was really interesting to see how the children placed the school buildings.

I played the racing car game- multiplication.  I came in first in 52 seconds and got 36 questions correct.  What can you do?

Week 3, Term 3

We measured our hands using fruit loops.  How many fruit loops do you think your hand would take up?

Kereru Birds came to visit our school.  Team Kereru members were very quick to find them and watch them closely.

TERM 3

Welcome back!

A busy start to term 3!  The children are loving being back and are all rearing to go and eager to learn.
